COFFEE ONE as an example:

INT. APARTMENT. DAY.  HE opens the door.
HE
Hi! – What a surprise! Do you want coffee?

SHE
Are you going to make it?

HE
Yes, I will make it for you

SHE
That sounds great! Even better if you make it strong.

HE
Splenda or regular sugar?

SHE
No sugar… Remember

HE
I remember all; I’m just shy today. (PAUSE)
What happened?

SHE
I have to tell you something…

They are just talking about coffee, now read this short
dialogue having in mind the following:

First Reading: She knocks on the door and come to talk to him
because… They had a relationship and she heard that now he is dating
her sister.

Second Reading: She knocks the door to speak to him because…She
will accept his proposition of living together as a couple.

Third Reading:  She comes to tell him that someone he loves passed
away.

This can give you an idea of what is SUBTEXT. Just doing it will make it
clear.

WE will practice HOW YOU approach each scene & HOW YOU can do it
better.

2. MOVEMENT WITH PURPOSE

A
cting without words? Yes!

A character must communicate at all times, very often actors
can’t sustain a roll while being quite in a scene or they tend to
act only with their voice. Movement and Physical Expression is
not simply about how you move.  It’s owning a roll with the
whole body, not just with our faces.

In our workshop we will integrate Feelings and Body
Expressions, also we will practice What and When to apply it
--- for TV and Film.
